I've worked in stoneware clay for the last five years or so. I don't consider myself much of an artist, a frustrated artist maybe, but I love working with clay and selling some pieces now and then is a real joy and blessing. Blogging on the other hand is so new it's painful, I really don't know what I'm doing here as you will soon see! Old Friends
Found out a few hours ago that a childhood friend has passed away. We were more than friends, actually third cousins as well. I feel as if the wind has been knocked out of me. We had lots of ups and downs as children and young adults, but ended up forgiving each other years ago and am I ever so glad for that! Hadn't seen each other in many years and just a little while back connected on Facebook. I enjoyed catching up with her...now she is gone and I am so sorry about that. Rest in Peace Martha Ann, you deserve it and I pray to see you again someday and to hope to spend eternity with you. You were much loved and will be sorely missed by many...myself included.

ReplyDeleteVery sorry for your loss, Marti. I recently, and very suddenly, lost a dear cousin (distant) whom I had met through genealogy. Loss is always hard. We just have to remember the good times. Glad you had some time to catch up on FB. Saying a prayer of comfort for you and your cousin's family/friends.
