I've worked in stoneware clay for the last five years or so. I don't consider myself much of an artist, a frustrated artist maybe, but I love working with clay and selling some pieces now and then is a real joy and blessing. Blogging on the other hand is so new it's painful, I really don't know what I'm doing here as you will soon see! Wet Sanding
I cannot remember who told me about wet sanding the first time, but I am sure glad I heard about it. Most of this day has been spent with my fingers in muddy water, wet sanding each piece, each bead until I have them all ready to be glazed. All one hundred of them today. Not as many as usual, but with the clay class pieces, it should be enough to fill the kiln.
